I can definately see Reachmen stuff appearing in western Haafinheim along with Direnni ruins. The Redguard set can also be used along the border with Falkreath, and Orc settlements can appear all over western Skyrim, perhaps as far east as Whiterun.

Great work on our new Reachmen models, Woras. For the other Reachmen stuff you have planned, how much are you going to derive inspiration from what was portrayed in TESV?

Yeti: Darn it, I hit "edit" instead of "quote" again!

Here is what I hope to be a close recreation of Woras' post. I'm really sorry that I keep editing your posts by accident, Woras

I'm planning on recreating the Reachmen weopens as they appear in TESV.

Hey, if you have requests, ideas, suggestions, you can always tell them. Just saying.

Also, please use orc items in Reachmen villages, baskets, drums, ect.

I agree, Reachmen shouldn't be too bothered about Nord-imposed borders.

I don't really have anything concrete. I'd say the look of their clothing should be similar to what is seen in TESV (made out of animal skins and bones), but they shouldn't look as "primitive" as Bethesda portrayed them. Also, the Reachmen are discribed in some areas as farmers, so there should be some hint in their attire that they aren't only hunters and gatherers.

I too think the reachmen shouldn't look as primitive as they do in TES V. Yes, they are meant to be farmers, building thatch-roofed houses.

I'm personally not too sold on the idea of putting them in G-Strings made of fur and that stuff, it's something Nords would be much more likely to wear. Nevertheless I will be incorporating both bones and fur in some way or the other.

The following things have already been made btw:
-2 Necklaces (one with amber and one with feathers and teeth)
-2 Rugs made of wicker
-bonded palm-sprigs as wand decoration
-several dried herbs for suspension
-A shaker made of trembleweed-bud
-A war axe that is pretty close to the war axe forsworn are wielding in TES V

I agree, G-strings are much too cold to wear, even in the temperate Reach. I take it the necklaces are the same as the ones hanging on that beam in your earlier file, they look great!

Something like a fur-cuirass, I guess. It's not finished yet, though.

Look's good Worsas, though perhaps too thin around the hips. The axe, however, is perfect.

Awesome work Worsas, are they going to be clothes or armour ingame? [The one on the left looks more armoured I guess.]

I'd prefer them as clothes, since we really need our own clothing more so than new armors at this point and wormmouth armor is technically already a Reachmen oriented armor, I think.

Yes, wormmouth-armor is meant as reachmen-armor. And yes, I was thinking of making them shirts in place of armors now, though, I was hesitant in between.

Am I allowed to just post around in here? I just wanted to comment that I love this design direction for the Reachmen, really cool. Is that maul the guy holding made from Wormmouths?

It's an axe and it's pretty much the same axe, forsworn wear in TES V apart from some minor differences. :D

The reachmen use the wormmouth-skin to create this armor (which was modelled by dirnae)

I actually haven't played Skyrim yet, lol. I'll get to it soon enough :D

Oh yes, but googling forsworn axe shows nearly the same weapon, nice remake nonetheless ;D

Is this the haven't-played-Skyrim-yet coming out thread? I haven't played it yet either. My computer sucks too badly ;) I've watched other people play it though, if that counts!

You guys haven't played Skyrim? :o

Though, I actually had the impression I was the only real TES:V fan on these forums anyway, so I am glad there aren't any more whiners :P

It looks really good, I've got a general impression of it. :) I simply lack the money to buy it and the necessary hardware to do so!

-> back to topic

I agree, we do need more custom clothes. (Though I imagine they are probably harder to make than simple statics.)
